Kayla & Mike are the most talented visual professionals I have ever met. They do the kind of work that makes jaws drop and people say, "OH MY GOD, WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!" Both have incredible talent for details, posing, and getting photos with all kinds of "WOW" factor. You want intimate close-up shots that speak just to you? WOW factor. You want grand, over-the-top pictures that belong on the cover of a magazine? WOW factor. You get the point. These two are a rare talent, truly.
The Langs are arguably the fastest friends we've ever made, and we didn't start looking at photographers for our wedding hoping to make best friends but here we are. Kayla & Mike are the kind of people you want to spend all day kicking around with. They're the people you want to plan vacations with. Shoot, they're just AMAZING FREAKING PEOPLE, and they're absolutely the people you want to shoot your wedding.
I've told you about what Kayla & Mike do and who they are because it's what matters. Anyone can buy an expensive camera, point, and click. But Kayla & Mike don't do that. They get to know you and your family. They care. They have fun alongside you. During all of that they take pictures, and they are so much more than pictures. They take stories. They take the most defining moments of your life and preserve them to be cherished forever. And they do it better than anyone else.

The photos we have from our wedding are truly better than I could have imagined, and we’ll love looking through them forever. But the Langs’ value goes farrrr beyond the images. I wasn’t expecting them to be such an integral part of the weekend, but they ended up saving our lives routinely throughout the whole trip.
When we initially were planning the wedding, I wasn’t even going to get a photographer because we weren’t terribly concerned with having the traditional wedding photos and didn’t want to spend a bunch of time taking photos. We told Kayla and Mike that and they got it, no questions asked. They formatted the whole process around what we valued.
We had never met before they arrived on Thursday and were a bit worried it would be kind of awkward having two strangers with us and our closest people. They INSTANTLY were so comfortable and fun to be around that they basically became part of the family on the first night. Kayla even accompanied our crazy selves to the casino the first night and witnessed our family debauchery.
They were extremely flexible at every step of the way and meshed completely into our group the whole weekend. We are a pretty go-with-the-flow, not concerned about a tight plan kind of couple and they hopped right into that. However, at the times we needed to be scheduled and on-it, Kayla and Mike were our organizers and advocates ensuring the whole group knew to stay on track. It was easy to forget they were snapping photos and video the whole time and the absolute best images we have are from the off times, not the traditional photoshoot moments (although those are amazing too!!!). Kayla became a sort-of coordinator for the wedding and basically kept the whole ship afloat. We could not have pulled it off without her!!!
I could not recommend the Langs enough and am so so so lucky we were able to snag them for our wedding. Best decision we made by FAR!
Kayla and Mike were everything I could have asked for in a photographer. They are a dynamic duo and they produce the most dreamy and amazing photos to remember your day. Kayla was so so helpful in my planning journey and so supportive of my husband and I doing things a little unconventionally.
They made us all feel comfortable and really were so professional and talented. Throughout the whole process, I knew we were in good hands.
On top of everything, the Lang’s sent us an extensive preview the night of our ceremony which was so impressive and I was so grateful to receive some images so quickly, then waiting for the rest was easy.
There’s no one better that I would entrust my wedding day to. The Lang Co. is the ONLY choice in my opinion.
I cannot say enough good words about The Lang Co!!!! Kayla and Mike were truly wonderful during the entire process! My husband and I did a small, intimate destination wedding in North Carolina and Kayla and Mike were there helping and supporting us through the entire process!
Not only did the pictures far exceed our expectations, but we have made two amazing friends along the way. I mean who can say they LOVE their photographers and made friends with them at the same time!
Kayla was so helpful throughout the entire process. She was texting me regularly to help plan, give ideas and suggestions and to just check in to make sure everything was still on track! Kayla truly went above and beyond from the moment we connected over email to our final goodbyes after the wedding!
After the wedding, they made the photo session so relaxed and fun it didn’t even feel like we were taking photos. They really captured our love in a story of photos. They were so flexible, easy-going, and just genuine kind people. My husband and I are seriously so so grateful that they were our photographers. Thank you Mike and Kayla for helping to make our dream wedding come true..every step of the way!!!
