A backdrop worthy of the sound of music, an intimate laying of hands, and a party to remember

Following up on their Intimate Texas wedding in October of 2022, Gabe & Andra wanted to celebrate their wedding and their marriage in style with the people they love the most.

Backdrops don’t get more picturesque than Quiet Meadow Farms in Mapleton, Utah. This stunning, rustic barn venue offers incredible views of both Spanish Fork Peak and Ether Peak and feels like it belongs in The Sound of Music.

Andra got ready in the Bridal Suite with picture windows looking out on the mountains. Opting to do her own hair, nails, and makeup (and doing a freaking fire job), Andra threw on her Spotify playlist and had a chill morning while we waited with her to start the party.

Because they’re already married, they wanted the ceremony portion of the day to be short and sweet, and provide an opportunity for the guests to help bless their marriage. A quick message from Gabe’s mom, a touching laying of hands, and a sweet kiss later and it was time to party.

Before dinner, we took fun photos with their friends and family, opting for quick and silly over staged and formal which matched the vibe of the day.

After dinner, speeches from friends and family, as well as from Gabe and Andra had the entire place in tears, which was followed up by first dances on the back patio overlooking the mountains.

We did a quick portrait session, taking them slightly up the mountain so they could have some space to play as the sun set behind them.

Andra’s mom owns a beautifully restored Ford Ranchero which they filled to the brim with some of the most gorgeous, colorful florals we had ever seen. They jumped in the back and we took a few photos before getting them back to the dance floor where they danced, and drank, and tied their ties around their head, and had the absolute time of their lives.

A bubble and streamer exit led the way to their restored Ranchero and they drove off into the night.

We love it when couples who weren’t able to have a wedding celebration with their friends and family originally are able to do so at a later date. Andra, Gabe, we had so much fun celebrating with you!
