Can I brag about our clients for a second? This year has been incredible. Every weekend we leave a wedding thinking to ourselves, “I freaking love them so much. These are the kind of people we need in our life regularly.” (I promise this isn’t wedding photography marketing blog fodder either. I’m 100% serious.)

Maybe it’s that whole “ideal client” thing everyone in the industry talks about. Maybe people have just been really nice to us. I don’t know. But we have so many friend crushes right now it’s silly.

The latest addition to this epic list of people I’ve gushed about in the car to Kayla on our way home at the end of the night: Haleigh and Evan.

When we talked to Haleigh about what she wanted for her big day, she kept coming back to the same few things. She loves pictures. Check. She loves a good party. Check. And she loves color. *record scratch.*

“But I thought you were neutrals people? I thought you didn't like color? Doesn’t Kayla epitomize Sad Beige Mom?”

Au contraire, mon frère.

We love color done well.

And let me tell you, Haleigh and Evan freaking did it well.

Before we dive into the day, I want to shout out to the absolutely fire vendor team, (and it was a BIG team). Everyone’s primary concern was Haleigh & Evan’s wedding day experience. You’d think that would be the baseline, right? Unfortunately, that’s sometimes not the case. So it was a big deal. There were a handful of times we had to make adjustments on the fly and everybody was friendly, flexible, and fun.
