Historically, I’ve opened up the following years booking calendar after the new year. Just after (and I mean just after) it turned 2024, I get an inquiry from Maddie:

“I have followed you on Tik Tok for YEARS and I'm finally engaged and ready to reach out! Your work (photography and video) is amazing. Super excited to hear from you!”

One phone call later and the (very far away) countdown to August 30, 2025 was ON. 

Yes, reader, that’s close to 20 months of waiting between booking and  getting to hang out at their wedding. And every dang minute was worth it for this day. Everybody already knows the drill so we can get down to business.
